Based on 2,072 reviewsAl Basha Mediterranean Grill in Seattle is frequently praised for its flavorful Mediterranean dishes, particularly the grilled meats, mixed plates, and falafel which often receive positive mentions for taste and quality. Customers appreciate the authentic flavors and the variety within the menu, including vegetarian options. However, some feedback points to inconsistencies in portion sizes and the composition of certain items, such as the gyro sandwiches, which occasionally include excessive filler ingredients. The restaurant’s halal offerings and welcoming seating environment are also noted as strengths. Overall, Al Basha is regarded as a solid choice for Mediterranean cuisine, with a loyal customer base that values its taste and ambiance despite minor areas for improvement.
Really good Mediterranean food. We had the mixed plate and the gyro—both excellent. The grilled meat is up there. 4.5/5.
Falafel was tasty. Crispy but soft inside. Had chicken and lamb plates. Meat was cooked well and tasted good
Dine at Al Basha restaurant tonight, we ordered mix plate and gyro Shawarma. The serving size for the mix plate was small but good in taste. The Shawarma we didn't liked
Ok, I gotta be honest. This is the first time eating this type of food. I dont know if there is any other place that will compare to this place. The chicken isnt dry great flavor and of course im from out of town. I will be back when im visiting again.
A Halal Restaurant with good food, nice seating area, and long hours. The restaurant has a decent sized menu that offers predominantly meat based Mediterranean cuisine as well as vegetarian option. Ordered a Lamb and beef gyro sandwich however it was very heavily filled with lettuce at the bottom end. The mixed meat however tasted really well. The take away order was a bit co in mplicated as there was no one to take the order. We have to select our order and pay online while standing in the restaurant. The staff brought the food to us as we waited after ordering. The serving speed was good. There is street parking available close by.
The food quantity was good , hummus kabab n rice were amazing ! The restaurant was warm inside on a cold december day .
I really enjoyed everything here. The staff was amazing and when we asked for advices, was very welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing, starting from the taste and it was extremely good looking. Will definetely come back!
A bit of a hole-in-the wall type place in Belltown. Good prices and good portion sizes. We wanted to know the difference between the two "Plate" meals that are described identically on the menu. The guy brought out a sample of the lamb to taste the difference. We ended up ordering a plate of each one, as we both wanted the lamb. It was delicious! We took food home, as the serving sizes are very generous.
